Onion Harvest 2012!
I finally harvested all of the onions. I grew red and yellow onions this year and they are delicious! I let them dry outside with their tops (the green plant parts) still on for a few weeks - in a dry, shady place. Then I cut the tops off, brushed off the dirt and put them in the basement - in a dry place on a shelf. They will last for a few months! Here is a link to a previous post about growing onions.
