Creating Habitats In The Landscape

Here is a link to a fantastic article from the New York Times about planting landscapes that provide food for insects and birds.  This practice helps support the small ecosystems in our yards and the larger ecosystems in our surrounding regions.  As gardeners we can become more consciously engaged with the natural world beyond our fences.  What a great idea!
