Roses Are Waterwise!

It's true.  Roses are heat tolerant and waterwise.  Once established, roses will thrive in a sunny spot and they only need a deep watering once every week or ten days - and only during the hot parts of summer.  Many varieties are cold hardy, so they can survive our cold Utah winters.  Because we generally have low humidity here, we don't see as many disease problems with roses as they do in other places.  It is typical for roses to have issues with aphids but the lady bugs will take care of them.  Roses make a great addition to any garden - color, fragrance and beauty!
